Delete your account
You can delete your Recall account (com.recall.flashcards) and everything stored with it at any time. Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone.
From inside the app
- Open Recall and go to the Profile tab.
- Scroll to Danger Zone.
- Tap Delete account.
- Type DELETE to confirm.
Your data is removed from our servers straight away, the local copy on the device is wiped, and you are signed out.
If you can't sign in
Email recallapp.official@gmail.com from the address the account was created with, with the subject “Account deletion request”. We will verify the address and complete the deletion within 30 days.
What gets deleted
- Your login and email address (the Supabase Auth identity).
- Every deck and flashcard you created, including AI-generated definitions.
- Your full review history and scheduling state.
- Reading data: notes, highlights, bookmarks and reading-time counters.
- Stories, quizzes and quiz attempts.
- Your monthly AI and voice usage counters, and your installed content packs.
- The offline copy held in the app's local storage on your device.
What is not deleted
The shared dictionary and the ready-made content catalog stay in place. They are not your data — they contain no personal information and are identical for every user.
Server logs may retain a request record without account contents for a short operational retention period.
Want a copy first?
Before deleting, use Settings → Data & Backup → Export my data to save your decks, cards and review history as a JSON file. Once the account is deleted we cannot recover any of it.
